Jenna & Si - we almost never got here! I’m so glad you didn’t decide to elope to Jamaica after Covid postponed everything, if I’d missed out on this wedding I would have been bitter about it FOREVER! Cool, Modern, Chic, Effortless, all the words I can think of to describe this day and this couple. They woke up together in the morning and then parted ways - met up at the venue and greeted all their guests in the bar before the ceremony. They completely forewent a top table, speeches or a seating plan, and everyone helped themselves to food from the Hip Hip Chip Shop food truck outside. FiveFour Studios is a serious contender when it comes to AMAZING wedding venues too, lets just say, if I ever do it all again, I may book them myself!
I had to share these kind words with you from Jenna and Si - I definitely did a cry!
Where do we even begin in thanking you for so perfectly capturing our wedding journey?!
As with all good stories, it all began on a wet and windy day in Manchester...we knew from how you worked with the elements and took it all in your stride on that engagement shoot that we'd be in safe hands on the big day.
I think there can be so much focus on getting good photos that the energy that the photographer brings to the day often gets overlooked. It was honestly like having another friend there with us for the day (one handily wearing flats to chase Si down the hotel corridor with the things that he'd left behind!) Neither of us are massively comfortable in front of the camera but you managed to put us both at ease-so much so that we somehow look like blooming models
(promise we haven't been strutting around to Right Said Fred!)
People are absolutely right when they say that the day flies by but you have managed to capture it so perfectly that we only need to look back at the photos to relive it…maybe one day I'll be able to do it without welling up too!
I know for many involved in the wedding industry that the past couple of years has been TOUGH. But you are so incredibly talented and our day wouldn't have been the same without you so keep doing what you do ❤️
