So what can I tell you about me…
I live in North Manchester with two black cats and the worlds tiniest fully grown Husky.
You’ll never lose me at a wedding, just look for the orange hair!
I’m into a weird yet unapologetic mix of Heavy Metal and Pop Music (and tonnes in-between).
I’m a huge ally to the LGBTQ+ community, after all….its Sisterhood not Cisterhood! Don’t let the “Bride” in my business name fool you, this girl wants to work with all humans!
Mental health awareness is also very important to me, if wedding planning is stressing you out, I’m here to chat anytime.
I can’t walk past a dog or cat without trying to become their friend.
I very much enjoy pineapple on pizza
I firmly believe that nobody is too cool to get on the dancefloor to The Spice Girls - come at me bro.
“Traditions are just peer pressure from dead people”
I’m not really a traditional type of gal. And one thing I really do love - is a wedding that incorporates the individual style of the couple into their day. Let’s face it, it’s ALL bout you guys!
Being your authentic self is the bravest thing you can be in life and I want to work with couples who break with tradition and do things their way. So if you don’t fit in with the big white wedding crowd, and you’re looking for an Alternative Wedding Photographer - come and join me fellow weirdos! Let’s do this crazy thing together!
A Message from Me to You…
My Style & Approach
I’m not a wallflower, but I can definitely disappear into the background for all your documentary style moment capturing, and then I can get right in the thick of all the action too. Sometimes you will forget I’m there, and other times you’ll be thankful I can dig out my loud voice and herd your tipsy groomsmen together for the epic group shot you desperately wanted!
My favourite part is stealing 20 minutes away from everyone with the two of you for a couples portrait session. As much as I hope we will be fast friends, you don’t want to spend your whole day with me - so lets knock these portraits out of the park and send you straight back to the party! You won’t be looking at the camera, just at each other. We will play some silly games and you’ll be relaxed and laughing in no time. This portrait session can be one of the few opportunities you’ll get to just have a quiet moment together and it helps me capture some really beautiful real moments between you. These photos will be the ones you want to hang on the walls of your home and cherish for many years to come.
When I’m not with you for your ceremony or portraits, I will be working in a fly on the wall style. Capturing moments between yourselves and your guests, moments you might have missed, all the little details, and plenty of dancing!
You can find a selection of these kinds of photos here - Guests, Moments, Details & Dancing
However, I’m always on hand to take posed photos of family and friends together on request.
Wedding Photography FAQs
-
I only book a limited number of weddings per year, so to be fair to all my clients I don’t hold a date without a deposit. Once you’ve paid a deposit and filled out a booking form, your date is secured.
-
I take a £200 deposit to secure your wedding date.
-
Absolutely! Let’s grab a coffee and you can tell me everything about your wedding, I can’t wait to hear all about it and meet you both!
-
Your final balance payment is due 30 days before your wedding date.
-
Yes, definitely! I always get formal photos of you with all your bridesmaids and groomsmen but I also know how important it is to get photos of all the family together on an occasion like a wedding. I work to a pre planned list of groups set out by you, and I will have an usher or bridesmaid help me organise everyone. I usually say stick to a maximum of 8 groups so we don’t go over 30 minutes. We want to make sure there’s also plenty of time left for your couples portrait session without letting photos take over your day

I aim to get your images back to you within 6-8 weeks, at busier periods it can be a little longer. You’ll get a little sneak preview back for sharing on social media within a few days of your wedding.

While the photographer always retains copyright of the images, i.e. you can’t sell them on to a third party and make a profit. Your images are yours, so you can print and share as many as you like for yourselves or family and friends.
